  3. What can be shipped in the SMAP Box?

    The content in the box should not exceed the weight specification of the box. Contents should be compatible with the container and packed securely to ensure safe transportation with ordinary care in handling. Please refer to the list of restricted and banned items, for further reference ‘Restricted and Banned Items’.

  4. What are SMAP’s terms of carriage of shipment?

    SMAP advises the parties to insure the goods handed over to SMAP for transportation. Under the consignor insurance in the event of any loss SMAP shall provide COF (Certificate of Facts) on request. A COF charge of 0.2% on the invoice value shall be charged. If the consignment is not insured by the consignor SMAP has provisions to cover under Risk coverage policy, if consignor agrees to pay Risk surcharge as applicable at the time of booking. The maximum value goods carried under Risk coverage by SMAP is Rs. 50,000/-.
