BRANCH MANAGER.

Job description

  • Responsible for branch in bound & out bound operations within prescribed time.

  • Monitoring & ensuring timely arrival and departure of vehicles from the branch.

  • Responsible for all pickup and delivery activities of the branch.

  • Maintaining prescribed service level of all sMap products including e-commerce shipments.

  • Responsible for managing all customer queries arising out of the branch with the help desk of the branch customer support team.

  • Ensuring branch adherence to standard operating procedure for all Operational processes.

  • Managing the cost budget of the branch and upkeep of branch infrastructure.

  • Play the role of administrative supervisor to all branch personnel

  • KPI will be along 2 primary categories- Service Quality & Managing the Cost Budget of the Branch

 

JOB SUMMARY

 

The position is essentially responsible for evaluating, ideating, conceptualizing and driving strategic initiatives for profit, keeping in mind the overall organization Vision. The role holder is responsible for the revenue generation through sales and service to sMap customers for the assigned region. The role holder should oversee all portfolios of sales DP sales, channel sales, retail and international in the specified area. Additionally, the role holder is also responsible for the CRM, hub operations, HR and other administrative activities in the area.

 

FINANCIAL

Responsible for the P&L of the region and should work towards increasing revenue and reducing costs

Oversee generation of revenue for assigned region as per annual growth targets & departmental goals

Review collection of Cash on Delivery consignments on a regular basis and bridge gaps if any

 

TACTICAL

Understand the market forces, dynamics and focus on improving Regional performance

Liaise with DP team, Channels team, retail and International teams to do active business development and increase the revenue share of the assigned region

Taking care of a set of Regional and National Key accounts and ensuring proper engagement and relationship management. Ensure Maximum wallet share and retention.

Identify opportunities to increase the profitability by coordinating with fleet and accounts department

Responsible for Network Expansion and Collections.

 

OPERATIONAL

Oversee the service operations of all customers in the assigned region as per defined TATs and policies Leading the team of Regional Channel Managers, Area Managers, Channel executives and Branch managers to deliver Budgeted Revenue.

Responsible for maintaining the service performance and CRM operations for the region as per defined norms and benchmarks.

Also responsible for overseeing the last mile, first mile and gateway operations.

Oversee and manage all the activities and operations and ensure the operations are smooth and uninterrupted.

In case of any escalations, immediately attend to the same & provide amicable solution to the customer.

 

 

Qualifications and Experience

Any Graduate with minimum of 3 - 6 years experience Preferably in First & last mile operations from Courier & logistics industry.
